Honey and feta bites

Ingredients

  • 6-7 filo pastry sheets
  • melted butter
  • feta cheese
  • honey (chilli honey optional)
  • 1 egg
  • sesame seeds toasted
  • walnuts (finely chopped)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 185
  2. Line baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Take 6/7 pastry sheets and cut in half
  4. Brush sheets with melted butter
  5. Cut feta into bite sized cubes
  6. Cut each half of pastry into strips wide enough to encase feta
  7. Place cube of feta at top and fold over into a parcel
  8. Egg wash and top with sesame seeds and walnuts
  9. Put onto tray and cook for 15 minutes
  10. Then drizzle with lots of honey
