Following the recent death of Iola Gregory, another chance to see the award-winning comedy film set in a depressed town in the South Wales Valleys. She plays Mona in the film, which was first shown in 1987. When the local cinema is closed down, the former projectionist, plagued by money problems, devises an ingenious plan to make money. Trefor borrows money from Eli on one condition; that he'll pay for his funeral if he dies first. Starring Dafydd Hywel as Trefor and W John Phillips as Eli.
